Oh-ho~? Is that a glimmer of interest I see? I sure hope so– poor Ellory needs a few more happy comics.

By the way, as a question for the artist, what made you decide to go with the “static” aesthetic? It’s extremely appropriate, but also very unique. Was it inspired by anything in particular?

Originally I was going to make the first comic as a parody of a manga so I started with a screentone, black and white base but I couldn’t really get the anime style exactly right. But I liked how well the grey and hazy look felt so I kept that.
